The philosophy of Dharma Veda encompasses the profound wisdom of ancient Indian traditions, blending the principles of dharma (life's purpose) and Veda (knowledge).
Dharma refers to the principles that govern human life, guiding individuals to live in harmony with themselves, others, and the universe. It emphasizes the importance of fulfilling one's life's purpose and living a happy and healthy life. Veda represents knowing one's self, knowing our individual needs and caring for one's self.
In essence, Dharma Veda offers a path to living a meaningful and fulfilling life—one that is rooted in caring for yourself first so you can be your best for your loved ones and your life's work.
Meet
Geneviève Adams
She has always had a great passion for health, well being and the intangible spiritual side of life. She discovered the art and science of yoga at age 16 and has been teaching yoga in all of its forms for 14 years.

2007
She graduated with a degree in Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa and then went into a permanent job in the public sector. This was a watershed moment for her as she realized she was not fulfilled in her role and was seeking her purpose in helping people directly achieve their wellness needs.
2010
She took the leap of faith in her Dharma and went to India to study holistic Yoga with her teacher Yogrishi Vishvketu from the Akhanda Yoga school in Rishikesh. This is where she discovered the joyous benefits and expressions of yoga.
2011
After her training, she moved to Montreal to completely dedicate herself to helping other people meet their wellness needs by founding Dharma Veda. This was primarily the platform she used to teach yoga and meditation in studios, primary and secondary schools, privately, in old age homes as well as businesses. She also began to offer yoga, nature and chanting meditation retreats.
2017
Her journey led her to meet her teachers Anita and Manu Sharma from the Institute of Ayurveda and Well Being, in Montreal. She fell in love with Ayurveda’s approach of living in harmony with nature and decided to become an Ayurvedic practitioner.
Now
In addition to her joyfully grounding yoga and meditation programs, she now offers extensive Ayurvedic services, like: consultations, massage treatments, energy treatments, sound therapy and devotional chanting meditations. She is attentive, caring and compassionate and wishes for everyone to be fulfilled, happy and healthy.

“As a student of Ayurveda I didn't just learn about the practical skills of living in harmony with myself and nature, I learnt that Ayurveda is so much more, it’s the science of love. Loving nature, loving myself and loving others. The practice of truly loving allows us to lead long, healthy and fulfilling lives, and that’s what I want to share.”
